When you play Ark you realize that the most important is having your base well defended and on a good spot to don’t get an easy wipe. On this video it shows two of the best spots of The Island. The pack cave as the main base is an insane spot to live safe.

Easy cave
The best spot of The Island is the underwater cave called «Easy cave» or «Ez cave«. The underwater caves are more difficult to raid than a land base because the dinos die for the oxygen and the player too. You can only go with water tames and the players must go with a tek helmet or scuba. Here you have some strong points of why is the best spot
- Size and complexity: The easy cave is very big with multiple corridors, chambers, and hidden areas.
- Defense: Because of the size there are a lot of corridors that you can place a good defense and it is an underwater cave.
- Artifact: It is an artifact cave so you can controll who does the bosses.
- Alpha spot: Is the Alpha spot of The Island. You can be the bosses of the server if you have this cave.
- Building: Like the name of the cave, it is ver easy to build and do a breeding, craftroom and waroom to be prepared fo the PvP.
- PvP: On the ez cave you can do a good underwater PvP.
Pack cave
The pack cave is my favorite cave of the Island. In this cave there are a lot of narrow passageways and crouchs. The only soaking tame that can go inside of the cave is the carbo. There is a lot of space to do a war room, craft room and also a breeding zone to breed some dinos. The cave zone is central, and you have a strategic position to farm all the resources because you are on the center of the map.
- Size and Building: It is a big cave to build a war, craft room and also a breeding zone
- Defense: Because of the crouch the only dino of soaking that can go in is the carbo.
- Artifact: You will controll the pack artifact.
- Best dino for the cave: Therizinosaurus(for the denfense)
- Location: It is a central cave.
Ice cave
The ice cave is a good cave to defend. Is the easiest cave to defend with only 1 player. The main problem of this cave is that if they try to raid you offline you may lose it because you need at least 1 player defending. But it is still one of the best of The Island. There is a lot of space and you have the main resources close. And you have one artifact controlled.
